Dr. Rebecca Yun is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist in New York and New Jersey. She graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Psychology and Latin. After working for several years as a substance abuse counselor with at-risk teens in San Francisco, CA, Dr. Yun obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology and certification in school psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She completed her internship at Maimonides Medical Center and her post-doctoral fellowship with the Jewish Board Family and Children Services working in both the Learning Center and the Child Development Center. During her doctoral studies, Dr. Yun has also trained in prominent New York hospitals including Beth Israel Medical Center and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In addition, she conducted research and completed her dissertation with Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.

At present, Dr. Yun works as a consulting psychologist at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s (FDU) Center for Psychological Services. Her duties include conducting neuropsychological assessments and supervising doctoral students administering, interpreting, and writing up psychological evaluations for individuals suspected of ADHD, learning problems, or emotional and personality difficulties. Moreover, Dr. Yun has provided several seminars and workshops on child development as well as test administration. She has also periodically returned to FDU as an adjunct instructor teaching graduate level courses in personality theories as well as undergraduate courses in health and general psychology.

Dr. Yun balances her busy career by spending time with her family, taking in life’s simple pleasures such as long walks with her children or a trip to the central park zoo. She is an active participant in her children's schools and has helped organize several fundraisers. For the past several years, she helped spearhead a drive to raise funds for foster children transitioning to independence.
